Macron, technical partner of Bologna FC 1909 for more than two decades, entrusted us with the task of celebrating this long-standing partnership. The goal was to conceive and produce a corporate documentary where innovation, design and sport could be seamlessly intertwined with the passion, loyalty and pride that connect a city to its football club. The result was Macron: 20 Years Together, a project that allowed us to experience and share the emotions of our hometown.

The documentary adopts a classic “talking heads” format, bringing together the professionals and key figures behind the Macron brand, alongside representatives of Bologna Football Club and, just as importantly, those who often remain in the background of stories like these: the fans. Through a series of personal testimonies, they retrace twenty years of partnership, telling the story through the iconic shirts worn by Bologna FC players and produced by Macron.

The voices and interviews are interwoven with archive footage and match highlights, captured in slow motion and edited alongside images of supporters’ flags, team colours and the faces of Bologna fans in the stands. The football shirt becomes a powerful metaphor for something greater — a lasting partnership united by passion, tradition and a shared love of the game.
